I'm a Plant Design Deputy EGS, I love CAD, Piping and layout design, diving, gardening, DIY crafts and Innovation!

I have been working in the Mechanical Engineering field, specifically in the Plant Design and Piping Engineering Since 2007 with more than 12 years of experience. I contributed in engineering activities in number of large projects inside Egypt and abroad, activities include preliminary FEED design, detailed design, support procurement and construction management activities. Projects in Oil and Gas, Alternative Fuels fields and mostly in Power Plants Engineering. I proficiently use CAD tools like Autodesk AutoCAD, Bently Microstation, 3DM, AVEVA PDMS and Intergraph family of products including Smartplant3D and SmartPlant Review.

Academically, I received a Diploma in project management from AUC after finishing my BS.c in Mechanical Engineering from Banha University in 2006.

For the Past five years, I have contributed in establishing a new software platform (Intergraph smartplant 3D) by creating its database and adapt it to suit my company's procedures, guidelines and standards.

About My Project, Smart greenhouse controlled through mobile app.

I have more than one idea for my final project, but let me pick one of them to implement in this diploma.

This project is a greenhouse which may use a normal soil or the hydroponics technology, the main point is to make a fully controlled circumstances inside the greenhouse by controlling parameters like temprature, humidity, soil moisure, water PH levels, watering timing and light intensity and enabling changing those parameters remotely through a mobile application.

The idea behind this is to maximize the process automation, reducing manpower, monitoring greenhouse data 24/7 remotly and taking action whenever it is needed wherever the operator exists.

Briefly speeking, I will try to integrate all what I learned in this diploma to complete this project using laser cutting to make the greenhouse frame, PCB, sensors and Arduino board to control the parameters and taking actions and may i use a 3D printed parts to make a mechanism opening and closing windows in the greenhouse roof in order to control humidity.
